LenzLog is a web app: no App Store needed. Add it to your home screen from the browser and it behaves like any other app – full-screen, with its own icon and notifications.
iPhone & iPad
Safari · iOS 16.4 or later recommended
Open it in Safari
Go to app.lenzlog.com in Safari. Since iOS 16.4, other browsers such as Chrome or Edge may also offer “Add to Home Screen” in their share menu – Safari is the most reliable.
Tap Share
Tap the Share button. Depending on your iOS version it sits in the bar at the bottom or behind the ⋯ button next to the address bar.
“Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down in the share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. Not there? Tap “Edit Actions” or “View More”.
Tap “Add”
Keep the name LenzLog (or change it) and tap Add in the top right.
Open from the Home Screen
Start LenzLog from its new icon. It opens full-screen, like an app – sign in once.
Allow notifications
Turn on reminders in the app and tap Allow. On iPhone, push only works when LenzLog is opened from the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later).
Android
Chrome recommended
Open it in Chrome
Go to app.lenzlog.com in Chrome. Other browsers (Samsung Internet, Edge) work similarly.
Open the menu ⋮
Tap the three dots ⋮ in the top right. Chrome may also show an Install banner by itself.
“Install app”
Choose Install app – on some phones it’s called Add to Home screen.
Confirm “Install”
Confirm with Install. LenzLog appears on your home screen and in the app drawer.
Open LenzLog
Start it from the new icon and sign in once.
Allow notifications
Turn on reminders in the app and tap Allow when Android asks.
Computer (optional)
Chrome, Edge or Safari on Mac
Open it in Chrome or Edge
Go to app.lenzlog.com on your computer.
Click the install icon
Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar – or open the menu and choose Install LenzLog… (Edge: Apps → Install this site as an app). On a Mac with Safari 17 or later: File → Add to Dock.
Use it like an app
LenzLog opens in its own window and can be pinned to the taskbar or Dock.
Something not working?
No notifications?
On iPhone, open LenzLog from the Home Screen icon (not from Safari) and make sure you have iOS 16.4 or later. Then check Settings → Notifications → LenzLog and any Focus mode. On Android, check the app's notification settings.
Opened inside Instagram, Facebook & co.?
Those apps use their own in-app browser, which can't install web apps. Tap the ⋯ menu and choose “Open in browser” (or copy the link into Safari / Chrome).
“Add to Home Screen” is missing?
Make sure you're in Safari (on iPhone) and scroll all the way down in the share menu. If it's still missing, update iOS: Settings → General → Software Update.
New phone or reinstalled?
Your diary is stored with your account on our server, not only on the phone. Install LenzLog again and sign in.
